Avalon Simi Valley

Living here since 2020 it’s really nice. The amenities, gym club house, pools, jacuzzi, everything is well kept up, and Amazon lockers. Having a garage is a plus because parking can get full but they are working on improving that process. Maintenance request are answered in a timely manner. The counter tops are starting to peel in the kitchen it looks nice but remember its laminate. Appliances are really loud but nice to have a washer and dryer in unit. I live in a unto facing the mountains which is nice. The grounds are really nice and kept up they have to send out reminders and tell people to clean up after their pet, it shows that they are about keeping it nice and clean. There is no garbage disposal even though there is a switch and sound of one learned that the hard way. Now the cons for me not for everyone they are putting in hardwood floors I have carpet so I hear everything from my neighbors above me and they have a kid they let run around so having peace in my home no longer exist. So if you can get a 3rd floor unit definitely go that route I will never again live below someone with hard would floors.

I've been here for a year now and I'll say that this is a very wonderful and blessed place to live. I have to give huge thanks to Marjorie for going to lengths in order to accommodate my application. They're very helpful and attentive in a personable way. Despite how busy the leasing office can be, when they are available I've always been met with friendliness and a welcoming vibe. The maintenance workers have a great attitude and have always been happy to assist with any issues that I've had. Convenient amenities are always clean and presentable, the property is so secure and safe, it is easy to feel good coming home from work to such a comfortable and convenient home, and knowing that I can talk about anything with the leasing office and maintenance crew. They've shown a lot of empathy in ways that create a pleasant atmosphere. Everything is well kept here, and a part of the reason for my interest was the beautiful architecture and super convenient layout of the apartment.

I would really like to thank Marjorie and Duran for coming to our apartment and helping us solve a pet urine problem. Duran came up with a great product that solved the problem, and now our patio smells nice and fresh. Also, I'm a senior and disabled. Marjorie was kind enough to bring us our parking passes so I didn't have to try and get to the office in my scooter. I really appreciate both of them for taking the extra step to help me. I visit Avalon at Simi Valley almost several times a week for work and I am always, without a doubt, unequivocally, greeted by staff person, Dianna, with a smile and provision of any needed assistance. I’ve encountered such terrible apartment managers/staff, even currently in my own residence, so I’m always taken aback with the politeness and competency that I experience here at Avalon. Today, I needed an access code for work. Karla, followed by Diana, went out of their way to assist me whilst on their lunch break to make sure I had what I needed. I am at a loss for words because NO ONE has to do anything for anyone — yet they consistently go above and beyond for those they’re able to help. Thank you Diana & Karla. You’re truly appreciated. I hope you guys aren’t taken for granted.
